stagi - 'vegetable'

stagi

'vegetable'

x1 is the edible x2 portion of plant x3; x1 is a vegetable

Note that fruits and nuts are also vegetables; generally this word will be used for either the general category of edible plants, or for non-fruit vegetables (= nalrutstagi).

(cf. grute, kobli, narge, sluni, spati, sunga, tamca)

Let's continue with stagi what started yesterday, even though most people like fruits more than vegetables. Again, photographs of tagged vegetables from your fridge and words for different types of vegetables are welcome.

"Foods and Beverages" lists some types of vegetables.

It would be nice to have examples, where some of the non-x1 places are used - I could only think of contrived/constructed examples
