Only a few minutes late (due to summer time, I'd still have 22 minutes using winter time ;)) the new word. I think this week the topic will be travel (litru).

Did you know that the predecessor of the travel passport in Europe is believed to be the "Pestbrief", a document for voyagers and merchants issued in the 14th century when the Black Death posed a great threat to cities with foreigners incoming from overseas? I don't have a english source, but maybe you can make some use of the german one at http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pestbrief if you're interested.
