grute - 'fruit'

grute
rut

'fruit'

x1 is a fruit [body-part] of species x2

(cf. badna, dembi, figre, guzme, narge, perli, pilka, plise, spati, stagi, tamca, tsiju, tarbi, panzi, rorci, te pruce, jbari, nimre)

I decided that the main topic of this week will be "cidja" (= food). If you have a look at the old word frequency lists you'll see that most of the food-related words have a low frequency count. Even though several people knew quite a lot words I think this is a good start. Anyone eager to have a full dose of new words can have a look at "Foods and Beverages".

A good way of remembering words for things you have in your house is tagging. Simply label things in your house with small pieces of paper. la timos has already started, I think he will post some pictures in a comment later on.

For those of you who want some interaction on this blog, I call on you to post either photos of your tagged food or to comment this post with types of "grute" you can remember without looking it up! This might exceed the idea of "one word a day", but it might make this project interesting for people who have a more advanced knowledge of lojbanic vocabulary or already know the word of the day.
