I've never understood this quite common "by standard xn" place. Maybe this would be a good opportunity to ask for a brief explanation? What is supposed to go in there?
I think another way to read "by standard" would be "in the viewpoint of" (but this way does not fit good in all cases where "by standard" is used).
Think of the word melbi, which means x1 is beautiful to x2 in aspect x3 by standard x4.
Consider a troll, a human and an orc discussion about woman. They'd use different standards I think (fill something like {mi} in there).
Or same with {tsali} which means strong. A mouse can be strong, but a weak elephant will be way stronger than the strong mouse.
